David Verinder has served as President and CEO of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System since 2014. He joined SMHCS in 2006 as the Chief Financial Officer and later served as Chief Operating Officer. He is the current vice-chairman of the Safety Net Hospital Alliance of Florida and is on the Southwest Florida Council of Boy Scouts executive board. He received a B.A. from Louisiana State University and MBA from Auburn University. David joined the Healthcare Foundation board in 2019.
