Gwen MacKenzie, former CEO of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, served as an executive with Ascension Health in Michigan. The former oncology nurse practitioner also served as COO and interim CEO of Detroit Medical Center. She holds a B.S. and master of health services administration from the University of Michigan, in addition to a master of nursing from the University of California/Los Angeles. Gwen joined the board of the Healthcare Foundation in 2019.
