Healthcare Foundation Welcomes Prospect Research Analyst and Marketing Coordinator

SARASOTA. FL (December 8, 2017) Certified fund-raising executive Elizabeth Connolly, CFRE, has joined Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation as a Prospect Research Analyst. Ms. Connolly brings more than 15 years of experience in fund raising for health care, educational and social service organizations.

Elizabeth is responsible for identifying giving opportunities within the Foundation’s donor contacts and managing data critical for securing philanthropic support for the Healthcare Foundation.

Ms. Connolly was a prospect research analyst and director of grants and sponsored programs for the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT. She also served as a grant writer and researcher for Community Health Resources and the director of development and alumni relations for the Master’s School, both in Connecticut.

Ms. Connolly received a BA in mathematics from Hofstra University and a MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business.

Hillary Terhune is the new Marketing Coordinator for the Healthcare Foundation. She comes to the organization from nationally recognized local manufacturing company, Tervis Tumbler in North Venice where she was the Social Media Coordinator. Ms. Terhune brings an extensive background in all aspects of the digital marketing world.

Ms. Terhune is responsible for coordinating all aspects of marketing, design, mailing and fulfillment of the Healthcare Foundation’s communication programs, including annual appeals, the annual report, grateful patient program, newsletter, website and social media.

Ms. Terhune earned her BA in Communications from the University of South Florida. She is a native of and lives in Englewood, FL.
