Nearly all of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System’s 10,000+ employees live in severely impacted areas. You can imagine how difficult it was for them to leave loved ones behind during a hurricane, and the immediate aftermath, to care for others. Many experienced damage to their homes or vehicles while bravely fulfilling their commitment to SMH and our community’s needs.
