The Healthcare Foundation Appoints Terrence “Terry” Lundgren to its 2023-2024 Board of Trustees

Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of new board member, Terrence “Terry” Lundgren.
Terry Lundgren served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Macy’s, Inc. for 14 years before retiring as the company’s Executive Chairman. He also served as President of Macy’s, Inc. and as its Chief Merchandising Officer. Previously, Lundgren was Chairman and CEO of Neiman Marcus.

Currently, Lundgren is the founder and CEO of TJL Advisors, LLC, and is on the board of directors of Proctor & Gamble. During his career, he served on the board of Kraft and Mondelez Food, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York; served twice as chair of the National Retail Federation; and chaired the Economic Club of New York.
Lundgren is a former Trustee of Carnegie Hall and served as Commissioner on Women’s Economic Development by appointment of the mayor of New York. He is a former board member of The New York City Partnership and United Way of New York City along with serving for two terms as chair of the National Minority Supplier Development Council and was co-founder of the American Heart Association’s CEO Roundtable. Lundgren is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
