As we approach the close of another remarkable year, we first express our immense gratitude for the community’s support and commitment to our mission—helping Sarasota Memorial bring world-class healthcare to all.
With the support of our donors, SMH has been able to move forward with several projects to meet the ongoing needs of our growing community. The Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute’s Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion will open in early 2026 and will provide local cancer patients improved access to a comprehensive range of outpatient oncology services, SMH-Venice expansion nearly doubled the number of inpatient beds and increased capacity at its Emergency Care Center and the Kolschowsky Research and Education Institute a hub for clinical research and training programs is on track to open in the spring.
Beyond the beautiful facades of these new buildings, philanthropy plays an ever-important role in supporting patient care and clinical staff support and education programs. Programs like First 1,000 Days, Thrive wholistic cancer support program and the Nurse Well-Being & Coaching Program would not be possible without your support.
THANK YOU!
