As we approach the close of another remarkable year, we first express our immense gratitude for the community’s support and commitment to our mission—helping Sarasota Memorial bring world-class healthcare to all.

With the support of our donors, SMH: opened the doors of the new Cornell Behavioral Health Pavilion, a life-changing destination for those struggling with mental health issues; broke ground on both the Research and Education Institute, a hub for SMH research, medical training and innovation, and the Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute’s Cancer Pavilion, a 7-story facility offering a full array of outpatient services; and continues work on the SMH-Venice expansion that will nearly double its capacity.

Beyond the beautiful facades of these new buildings, philanthropy plays an ever-important role in supporting patient care and clinical staff support and education programs. Programs like First 1,000 Days, Thrive wholistic cancer support program and the Nurse Well-Being & Coaching Program would not be possible without your support.
