The Healthcare Foundation Names Sarah Crittenden Director of Communications and Philanthropic Engagement

Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of Sarah Crittenden as the Director of Communications and Philanthropic Engagement. In this newly created role, Crittenden will lead the Healthcare Foundation’s communications, marketing, donor engagement, and special event efforts, helping strengthen community connections and inspire philanthropic support for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System.

“Sarah brings an exceptional combination of strategic communications experience, donor engagement expertise, and event leadership,” said Stacey Corley, president of Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation. “Her background in building meaningful relationships and creating mission-driven experiences will help us continue to grow awareness and support for Sarasota Memorial.”

Crittenden joins the Healthcare Foundation from Ringling College of Art and Design, where she most recently served as Senior Director of Events and Engagement. In that role, she led strategic communication and engagement initiatives supporting the college’s fundraising and capital campaign efforts. Prior to this role, Crittenden held a series of progressively senior positions at Ringling College, overseeing constituent events, hospitality, and donor engagement programs.

Crittenden earned her Master of Arts in mass communications from the University of Florida. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in advertising and public relations from the University of Central Florida. She is involved with local philanthropy through organizations including the Al & Nancy Burnett Charitable Foundation and Cheers for Charity Women’s Giving Circle.
